Hard Work & Working Hard

It seems that each year as we prepare for our next crop we endure many hours putting together a plan. We work hard to make sure we have all the necessary products in place. We work extra hours to prepare equipment. Then, we work long days (and sometimes nights) to meet our self-imposed deadline.

Even after we’ve done the hard work, sometimes results don’t go as planned… now we must continue to work hard and do what we can to resolve these disappointments to the best of our ability! This is the test to our resiliency and indomitable spirit. We may have to respray or replant (or both), but I’ve met very few farmers who will ever give up when it’s time to work hard!
